The Moto X (originally dubbed as the X Phone) is a product that the world has been waiting to see. After Google‘s acquisition of Motorola, the two companies have failed to receive much momentum together in all this time. But with the teasers and excitement surrounding the Moto X, Google (and Motorola) might just get it right this time.

The Moto X was never meant to be a powerhouse, but more of a people’s phone (to read more about the specifications of the Moto X, click here). Google plans to achieve with Motorola’s Moto X what the Nexus line has always failed to achieve – true market penetration. What this means is that Google plans to get stock Android on a device with Google’s approved specifications in everyone’s hands (probably as a part of the Nexus experience project). Of course, by everyone, I mean the majority of the masses.

Eric Schmidt Using the Famed Moto X

In order to gain the momentum that this phone needs, it seems that Eric Schmidt, Google’s former CEO, is proudly sporting the phone as his prime device wherever he goes. From the looks of it, the phone seems to be quite beautiful. With the device being launched no more than a week from now, the excitement for this phone is at its peak!

White Moto X

Recently, Google also revealed some press photos of both, the black and white Moto X (image of the white Moto X is embedded above). Even though the Nexus 4 is a worthy phone to buy (here’s why you should buy the phone), the Moto X might be worth waiting for. Let me know what you think of the Moto X down in the comments section.
