“The most innovative smartphone” by Nokia was announced on September 2012 and released in the month of November 2012. But even after 3 months of its release, there’s a unanimous question in a million minds. Is this smartphone smart enough for the price tag it comes with? If that question still dwells in your mind, then its time to get it answered and we help you do it.
Well , the 185 gram smartphone with 4.5 inch IPS LCD Capacitive Touchscreen has one of the best touchscreens. I say this is a great improvement from what Nokia started with, the 7710 which required a great effort to browse through using the awful touchscreen technology. The Corning Gorilla Glass provides good protection to the Clear Black HD Display.
Microsoft Windows Phone 8 OS is pretty fluid and smooth to work with complimented by the 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor. The company claims 10 hours talktime on 3G and this device gave us around 9 hours which is pretty decent. The 8 Megapixel Camera with a Dual Flash LED with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED Flash Light does live upto its image quality and stands tall even when it competes with one of its healthiest competitors, the Samsung Galaxy S3. The 1080p videos video quality hasn’t been compromised by the display and the bundled earphones which come with the device makes your music experience more fun. Equaliser settings were absent but could be done via Nokia’s music app.
The 32GB Storage with a Gigabyte of RAM goes with the price as it has 7GB of Sky Drive storage. The connectivity is enhanced by Bluetooth v3.1 with A2DP and microUSB v2.0
On the whole, Nokia Lumia 920 looks like a bundle of surprises with very less to complain about even if you aren’t a great fan of the Finnish company. It very much lives upto its price tag and has given Nokia a good chance to bounce back as the Numero Uno again.
